This year's event
features great live outdoor music & entertainment on the big stage,
Hawaiian Outrigger Race on Saturday at noon & Kayak competition on
Sunday. Fun for the whole family! Highlights include fresh seafood, plus
a variety of other food & beverages including beer & wine, fine
artists, quality craft & environmental vendors with a bigger than ever
environmental area called Osprey Village! There will also be guided walks
in the woods & on the beach, plus nature talks, presentations, &
lots of activities & crafts for kids!
Location: In the shady
picnic area next to the beach & the wooded hiking trails, at Honeymoon
Island State Park, 1 Causeway Blvd., Dunedin, FL 34698
Fees: A single donation
of $5.00 per vehicle at the gate includes free parking. - Up to 8 people
per vehicle. Pets permitted on 6 foot hand-held leash.

Events include a 4-mile recreational
& 8-mile competitive race for canoes, kayaks, & paddleboards on
Sunday. This year's event is expanded with the all new Hawaiian Outrigger
race on Saturday. The event is part of the 2 Day Island EarthDays Celebration
with the Friends of Honeymoon Island & Caladesi Island State Parks.
The Awards Ceremony for the race will be held at the Island EarthDays event. |
